Terms

Last updated 20 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between Aigently and the business using it. They apply from the moment an account is created and for as long as the organization exists. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you may do so.

What Aigently does with personal data is the Privacy Policy, and it is part of this agreement rather than separate from it.

The service

Aigently is a platform for building conversational agents and running them on a website, in a chat, over WhatsApp and on the phone. What an agent says and does is configured by the customer, not by us — its prompt, its knowledge, its tools, its voice and the numbers it answers on are all theirs to set and theirs to change.

Features change. We add and improve things continuously, and where something a customer relies on is being withdrawn we say so in the console before it goes.

Your account

  • Who may use it — People your organization invites. An account is one person's; sharing sign-in details with somebody who has not been invited is not.
  • Keeping it safe — Credentials, secret keys and vault contents are yours to look after. We will act on a report of a compromised account as quickly as we can, and the console's audit log is there so you can see what happened.
  • Who can do what — Roles decide it — owner, admin, member — and the owner of an organization decides who holds which.

What you are responsible for

  • What your agents say — An agent speaks for the business that publishes it. You are responsible for its instructions, its knowledge, and the consequences of what it tells somebody.
  • The law where you operate — Recording a call, contacting somebody who has not asked to be contacted, and handling personal data are all regulated, and the rules differ by country. Calling campaigns and call recording are the two that catch people out; both are switches you control, and both are yours to be entitled to use.
  • Content you upload — Documents, recordings, contact lists and anything else you put into the platform — that you have the right to use it, and that it is not unlawful.
  • Systems you connect — A tool, a webhook or a model endpoint sends conversation data to a system you chose. What that system then does with it is between you and its operator.

What is not allowed

Using the platform to break the law; to impersonate a person or an organization you are not; to harass, defraud or deceive; to send bulk unsolicited calls or messages; to attack, probe or overload the platform or anybody else's systems; or to work around the limits, roles and quotas on your account. We may suspend an organization doing any of these, and we will tell you why.

Your data, and ours

Everything your organization puts into the platform, and everything its agents collect, stays yours. We hold it on your behalf to run the service, and we do not sell it or use conversation content to train models of our own. The platform itself — the software, the interface and its documentation — stays ours.

You can export your conversations, transcripts, recordings and configuration from the console at any time while the account is open.

Paying for it

Usage is metered per conversation and per model, and the Billing page shows what has been counted and what it cost. Test conversations are counted there too and are not billed. Where a deployment sets its own prices or its own plan, those are what apply.

Availability

We work to keep the platform running and fast, and the parts of it that depend on somebody else — a model provider, a telephony carrier, a messaging network — can fail in ways we do not control. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, the service is provided as it stands, with no guarantee of a particular uptime and no warranty beyond what the law requires.

Ending it

  • By you — Stop using it, or ask us to close the organization. Export anything you want to keep first.
  • By us — For non-payment, or for the conduct listed above. We will tell you, and other than in a case of serious abuse we will give you a chance to put it right.
  • Afterwards — Agents stop answering and the data is deleted on the schedule the Privacy Policy sets out. Amounts already owed remain owed.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the platform after that is how the change is accepted.
